Hey GDP fans! Mathew here with a quick update on October 6, 2009.

This is a quick video to say that because of the impossible to predict circumstances of Head 2 Head Games closing its doors this week - we are no longer shooting Episode 21 of The GAMES DAY Podcast this Thursday night at Head 2 Head Games.

Instead, we are shooting a normal live show on Thursday night at 8:30pm EST.

We are still planning a live to air show to talk about the DIG London conference, but will announce it when we have a bit more information - and can confirm that the venue will not be going under.

Thanks for your patience and support of The GAMES DAY Podcast as we confirm details with an alternate venue for the LIVE show.

Once again, we are not filming at Head 2 Head Games this week and instead are shooting a normal show from Tinderbox Studios at 8:30pm EST on Thursday, October 8. You can watch the show and join in on Ustream (via this link, or the link at the top of this page).

Please pass along this message to anyone you know who was planning to attend the show.

Add it to your calendar - this Thursday night, we’re taping Episode 21 of The GAMES DAY Podcast downtown at Head 2 Head Games. We want you to come and be a part of the audience as we talk about game worlds and immersive gaming experiences.

Two wishes

I have another Tumblr wish:

I wish when I was adding images to a page that I could specify vertical and horizontal padding at the time of posting (there was at one time at way to do this).

Or better yet, a drop-down or field that let you attribute a class to an image you were posting. Then, if you knew the CSS class you wanted to apply to the image, you could set it up right there.

If I had one wish about Tumblr

It would be easier to find when people reblogged, liked, or commented on your posts. I’m going through old posts in my timeline and finding that lots of people have made comments. That’s great, but the posts are months old and everyone’s moved on. It would have been nice to comment with them.
